Dear Parents,

The 09-10 school year start is just around the corner. In July the Texas Education Agency released the final accountability ratings for Texas schools based on the spring 2009 TAKS. This year, Barton Hills earned the rating of “Exemplary.” This is the highest rating and means that at least 90% of all students (grades 3-6) in each accountability group met the passing standards in Reading, Writing, Math, and Science. Congratulations to our hard working students, parents and teachers. The link to the TEA website with the complete accountability table is below.
