Partners In Education (PiE) is a partnership that was formed in 1983 between The Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce and AISD. Their goal was and still is to help AISD students gain academic skills and self-confidence to become successful learners and to reach their fullest potential in our community. Through these collaborative efforts many opportunities and advancements have been made that otherwise would not have been possible. In return for contributions of time or money, individual schools and AISD recognize these individuals and businesses through patronage, awards and various marketing tools. Additionally, The Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce uses this information to continue marketing Austin as a great place to live, work and develop business. It truly is a partnership that goes full circle continually improving our children’s education, local businesses and our community at large.

Our goal at Barton Hills Elementary School is to continuously identify and develop programs that encourage community involvement, and to recognize the contributing individuals and businesses in ways that they feel are truly beneficial. Currently, some valuable partnership opportunities include: mentoring, Book Buddies, technology, beautification of our school grounds and monetary donations. In return, we are recognizing our partners with thank you notes, links on our website, PTA newsletter mentions, plus our loyal and vocal patronage.

If you are a business owner, please consider a donation of your time or money to our school.  Without your contributions we would not be able to meet the increasing needs of our school.  Our entire community, including your business, benefits from the success of our students.
