Health and Wellness Fair
Bring your families and come out to the first annual FREE BHE Health and Wellness Fair this Saturday, Feb. 27 from 2-4 PM! Enjoy fun games, free smoothie tastings, interactive martial arts demonstrations, cool raffle prizes and more! You can even pick up a free garden start-up kit from the Sustainable Food Center, find out if you’re deficient in zinc while you chat with naturopathic doctor about holistic medicine, and learn about the benefits of acupuncture – there’s something for everyone!
Yes, you can come and go, but we encourage you to make it for the ALL of the excitement and here’s why:
At 2:05 a brief information will kick off the event and each family will be given a “Wellness Passport.” Then families will rotate through five great stations, and at the end of the event turn in their passports for a chance to win one of the fabulous door prizes – everything from gift certificates to Whole Earth Provision Co. to massage or acupuncture sessions! (Door prize drawing at 4 PM; must be present to win.)

Childcare for Silent Auction
The 2010 Silent Auction is right around the corner – have you lined up a sitter?
Thanks to Collins Van Nort and Faith United Methodist Church, there will be childcare available right next door to the event at 2701 South Lamar Boulevard.
Space is limited and reservations are required. Childcare available for ages 5 and above. Details:
Drop off and pick up: between 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm
Location: Faith United Methodist Church, 2701 South Lamar Blvd.
Total Cost: $5 per child for the entire evening! Please bring cash for payment.

BHE UNPLUGGED Silent Auction

Come enjoy a wonderful adult-only evening with food provided by Matt’s El Rancho, live music, and great silent auction deals for every budget and interest. All proceeds go directly to the BHE PTA and in turn, our school! Parents, family, friends, and community members are welcome.
January PTA Meeting and Choral Performance
Please join us on January 21st at 6:30pm for a short PTA meeting following by a musical performance by our 2nd and 3rd graders. The kids have been practicing very hard and it should be spectacular!
