April/May 2009 Volunteer of the Month

Deann Eisenhauer

Congratulations to our April/May Volunteer of the Month, DeAnn Eisenhauer.  While currently finishing her second term as treasurer she has also been involved in many other areas of the school, including the website, school supplies, directory and carnival.

Mom to 2nd grader Maddy and incoming Kindergartner Andrew, DeAnn is looking forward to having both children at Barton Hills next school year.  With all of that “free time” she plans to return to work in the fall and restart her career in accounting.

Our April/May Volunteer of the Month is sponsored by Boy Scouts Pack 14, Den 5, a Barton Hills 1st grade troop led by Eddie Torres.  Congratulations, DeAnn, and thanks for your dedication to our school!

HELP WANTED: 2009-10 Volunteer Positions Still Available!

The PTA has some areas we are attempting to fill as soon as possible. Please take a look at the positions available and if any appeal to you, contact Volunteer.BHEPTA@yahoo.com. Many are perfect for working parents who would prefer to volunteer mostly after hours from home. Our PTA is largely successful because of time spent by parents like you. What a better investment of your time and expertise than to benefit our kids! The volunteer hours of parents and grandparents are one of the things that makes Barton Hills Elementary a cut above the rest. WE NEED YOU!
